Second graders in Mrs. Warrington and Mrs. Lawrence's classes voted on Election Day. The students have been studying the election and had to register to vote, show their voter registration cards, and then vote in the voting booths set up in the classroom. They placed their ballots in the ballot box and tallied up the votes for an end to the voting process!
Second grade students display their "Turkeys on Parade." Students in Mrs. Lawrence's and Ms. Warrington's classes completed a family turkey project at home by decorating a turkey using all kinds of items. The students did a wonderful job!
Mrs. Becton and Mrs. Gean's Pre-Kindergarten class is exploring Fall this week. They have made a Venn Diagram about apples and their colors and traits. Also, they have made caramel apples and apple crisp!
Mrs. Edwards Sixth grade Art class has just finished making projects out of yarn. They picked a design, drew it on cardboard, and traced it around with yarn. It looked really neat! They are now starting on carving soap.
Mrs. Edwards Art 1 class is now making Christmas murals to hang up when the elementary kids have their Christmas program.
