As a courtesy of Texas Wildlife Association, an "Animal Adaptations Trunk" was received by Mrs. Severn's fourth grade class. The class spent the day looking over the animal skulls and footprint molds inside the trunk. They were able to identify and discuss adaptations of Texas' native animals. The trunk will be available to our school for two weeks.
Mrs. McLeod's and Mrs. Soileau's Kindergarten classes have been working on the letter 'T'. Their classes also have been learning about Fall and pumpkins.
Students also celebrated a day from Red Ribbon Week with wearing camouflage. Red Ribbon Week started as a way to take a stand for our children's hopes and dreams through drug prevention and personal commitments.
